You're right. Believe me when I say that Dick Dale was one of my finalists. He's a hell of a guitar player and I love his sound! Too boring to draw, though. Next time.

First of all, I didn't mean to offend anybody. I'm sorry if I did.
The truth is that I thought and looked for a woman guitar legend in the rock bussiness, but I couldn't find one. There are certainly in jazz and blues,like Memphis Minnie, who I totally love, but this is about rock. Perhaps you can name me a couple and I'll consider them for my next illustration.

I know that this would happen, that someones says "hey, where's BB King?" or "hey, where's Steve Vai?". It was hard to decide which player should of be here and who should not.
I had to chose 35 of hundreds of good guitar players they are around. In fact, my favourite player is Django Reinhardt and, you see, I left him out because he's not a rock musician. I have many other reasons for I have chosen these ones. But believe me, I know how you feel not seeing your favorite player there. Maybe next time.

Are you going to do a bass guitar poster?
I love Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders, I have many records of them, but i think she doesn't qualifies for a guitar legend. She does play, but she's mostly a singer and composer. I also did an illustration of Bob Dylan, but then I get him out of the poster for the same reason.

Si bien es cierto que lo que importa es la estética y que dá igual quién falte.
Yo creo que dado el estilo de los guitar dibujados, han faltado dos que no deberían de faltar:
1. Rory Gallagher, creo que todos estamos de acuerdo.
2. Ted Nugent, si bien el tipo está loco, se ha vuelto tarumba, está como un chocho loco. Su música hasta el Intensities era brutal.
