Dalton in London

I’m happy to say these last months I’ve been collaborating to London’s Monocle Magazine. If you still don’t know it, you should take a look at its website. This remarkable magazine covers many assorted subjects such as international affairs, business, culture and design. You can read it online, previous subscription, or receive it at home every month to enjoy it at your favourite couch. Here are some of the illustrations I did for them.

Me alegra decir que estos últimos meses estuve colaborando con la revista londinense Monocle. Si aún no la conoces, deberías echar un vistazo a su página. Esta notable revista abarca diversas materias como asuntos internacionales, negocios, cultura y diseño. Puedes leerla online, previa suscripción, o recibirla en casa cada mes para disfrutarla en tu sillón favorito. Aquí hay algunas de las ilustraciones que hice para ellos.

The attack of the folders from outer space

Thanks again to Dave and the guys behind Grain Edit who offered me to draw a special wallpaper for them. I enjoyed very much doing it and it was a lot of fun. You can download all the screen sizes at the Grain Edit Wallpaper page. They have also a Sigrid and Hans Lammle illustration that looks just great.

Gracias otra vez a Dave y la gente detrás de Grain Edit, quienes me ofrecieron dibujar un fondo de pantalla especial para ellos. Disfruté mucho haciéndolo y me divertí aun más. Los diferentes tamaños de pantalla se pueden bajar de la página de wallpapers de Grain Edit. Tienen además una ilustración de Sigrid y Hans Lammle que se ve realmente bien.

Icons on the mountain!

Many thanks to all the good comments and support messages, here and on the other blogs. I would like to show my appreciation, so I decided to specially draw a mountain scene for anyone interested in using it as desktop wallpaper. I guess I’ve covered all the current sizes. If your screen doesn’t match any of these sizes, write me and we may work it out.

¡Íconos en la montaña!

Gracias a todos por los buenos comentarios y los mensajes de apoyo aquí y en otros blogs. Me gustaría demostrar mi aprecio, así que decidí dibujar especialmente una escena de montaña para todo aquél que le interese usarlo como fondo de pantalla. Creo haber cubierto todas las medidas actuales. Si su pantalla no corresponde con alguna de estas medidas, escríbame y tal vez podamos solucionarlo.

Adiós vacaciones

De vuelta al trabajo, luego de unas relajantes vacaciones en Monte Carlo. Y para inaugurar la nueva temporada, nada mejor que la imagen de un avión despegando. Una bonita ilustración de Leo (sólo Leo) directo de mi biblioteca.

And because they’re also good guys, they uploaded a comment about my work and a link to my website, a kind gesture that honors me and fills me with joy. Finalmente, el nuevo sitio de Max Dalton está en el aire. Aun no subo los trabajos de animación, pero puede verse allí un interesante portfoliio de ilustraciones. En la foto, pensando en el futuro de la ilustración.

New site!

Finally, the new site of Max Dalton is on the air. I still don’t upload the animation pieces, but an interesting illustration portfolio can be seen there. In the picture I’m thinking about the future of illustration.
